Sneak Peek

Although I have been busy making hats and scarves for the Bridge Project I have also been working on a gift for my mother-in-law. While we were there at Christmas and after she received the snowflake afghan she asked if I would make an afghan for one of her spare bedrooms that she just had redone. Well, I felt honored. So I went to the LYS and bought a pattern book for her to look at. She picked a pattern then it was off to the LYS to pick out the yarn. She selected Vanna's Choice in the color Linen.

That evening I sat and worked up a square but I became concerned. The pattern had some very defined stitches and color change was so important. Anyway to make a longer story short we went back LYS and selected another color. Here is what we came up with and I think it is going to be beautiful.

So this is my in between hats and scarves project and plan on giving it to her on Mothers Day when they come to visit to use the theater tickets that we got them to go and see "Wicked" with us. I think it is going to be wonderful.

Well that is all for me, I hope this post finds you well and that you have a blessing filled day.
